You want to know your possible costs up front. We understand that the cost of retrieving your files is important, that’s why we’ll give you a fixed price for recovery right from the start. Prices do not inflate once we have your drive.

Single hard drives

up to and inc 500GB is £299 (ex VAT).

up to and inc 1TB is £399 (ex VAT).

up to and inc 2TB is £499 (ex VAT).

In a small number of cases drives with particular types of internal mechanical failure may require extra parts. We will let you know if this is the case and make clear what any additional costs will be (maximum £100 ex VAT). We never proceed without your go-ahead. We operate a no data no fee policy. We specialise in recovering from failed hardware. We combine years of dedicated hard disk experience with state-of-the-art equipment and the knowledge to use it effectively. All work is carried out in house by our highly qualified and experienced engineers. We do not act as agents and nothing is sent away.

When Do You Need Us?

Most hard drives come from one of the following:

a desktop computer (or server)
a laptop (or notebook or Macbook)
an external hard drive

All of these contain a standard hard drive. All of these eventually break down. If your computer fails to boot, or you cannot access your external data, you likely have a physical hard drive problem.

That’s not something your local IT shop can cure. They will usually offer to run some computer program to see if anything is recoverable, but just think about that for a moment.

If their computer cannot see your hard disk, how can their computer programme even begin to help?

It can’t.

If you are very lucky you will have a complete back-up. Otherwise something special is required and that’s where we come in.

We perform a two-day analysis on your failed hard disk – we aim to provide you with a list of all recoverable files and folders. Sometimes the hardware is too damaged so we will let you know a soon as possible. Our aim is to put you back in charge and provide the information you need to make good decisions.

By the time we’ve finished, you will either have your files back or know that they were never recoverable. Either way, you will have peace of mind.
